Ain't that the truth. My wife just doesn't understand it, but I'm always grinning when I get off the bike. Bugs in the teeth and all! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> Btw...Got hit with a big bug the other day while my face mask was up. That hurt! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/doh.gif" alt="" /> I wear a half helmet, and I've gotten popped by a few bugs. My windshield deflects most of them. A few years ago, a buddy of mine rode through a honeybee swarm. That didn't turn out so good, but he kept it upright til he got stopped. Didn't bother with a kickstand though, just dropped it and ran. Man that is my nightmare!
I have never hunted an animal, but Ill make an exception for Micheal Vick!

Worst I ever got hit was by a Junebug. Thing felt like I got shot. But at least it didn't sting!

I've got some pretty good cold weather gear, but I need some good gloves and maybe some insulated jeans for riding in the winter. I bought a work Bib from Wally world for 50 bucks or so. They are meant for cold weather construction stuff I think. They are perfect for riding. They zip up both legs so you don't have to take off the boots first. They are really thick also. The ones made for motorcycles are like 300 bucks...No thanks!!!

There is a leather shop here at the local flea market, they sell gloves pretty cheap. I'm talking half-finger leather gloves with padded palms for $4 cheap. I'm gonna see if they can order me some winter gloves.

I think they start selling them around the end of summer. Im not paying 300 bucks. That is ridiculous!

I found some military surplus leather gloves online for 4 bucks a pair and they are far better than what you would get at the local stores for 20 bucks.
