Just ordered 2 myself.
They look like a smaller version of the Yardkeeper, which has fast become one of my favorites.

I like the looks of the actual production version a lot better that the prototype they had hanging on display in the pics from blade. I am VERY glad to see it has a small choil. really just so you can sharpen all the entire blade length. The blade profile looks a lot better to me than the proto.
Thanks Dan! But now you're making me reconsider my decision to not get one. This might make me reconsider the 411 I was waiting on.

GC, don't bet me wrong, I LIKE the mudders, but personally I feel they can be sort of limiting in the gripability department. They do feel really nice in the hand, but only (for me at least) in a couple grips. The normal grip and the reverse or icepick grip. Not the "Basic" grip style appears to be more conducive to a multitude of grip options. I don't know if Dan has had any design experience, but he sure knows what works! Man that little knife sure looks good. Kinda like the SI Cover girl, kinda grows on ya! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Hey Dan, how much trouble would it be to get the Res-C colored Gray, or Tan. or even GREEN? I would think you could order the materials in those colors as I am assuming (YEAH I KNOW) you injection molding machine melts the material as it is injected around the tang, UNLESS you get the handles already made up and you mount them in a jig and press them onto the handles. And even then.... I'll be the dogs would be willing to pay more for a different colored handle.
