I like the smaller choil.

Still wish it would have had the mudders.

It looks a lot nicer than the proto they had at blade.

I hear what your saying about the basic over the mudders. But I really like the way my SS4 feels in the hand.

All and all 1/4 thick, basic grips with the small choil. It going to be nice just not what I was expecting.

I have an S5 and MPLE, both having mudders and I like them too. But a "Straighter" handle like the 311 I think still allows for more comfortable various holds. But I don't blame you for liking the mudders, they are a classic in their own right.

Oh yeah it is going to be another classic blade for Dan, his winning streak just keeps getting larger. But for a smaller use it for everything blade I think 3/16 inch thick would be better for slicing and such, without binding because of the length Vs thickness.

Well I have the MP so I guess I'm covered. I wish I could find a S5 I missed that one just like the MUK.

Now I'm on the fence, I was hoping for the mudder grip. I sure hope the 411 is a mudder.

I also have a Wardog (and a Wardog HACK that I don't use) and I really like it, a lot. But i also have an S5 and I like the blade profile in it I think just a tad better than the Wardog. But the wardog being not quite as high a blade seems to slip into places just a little bit better, then again it just may be me but it seems to have just a touch more finesse to it.

Any way, like you said the 311 even at 1/4 inch thick will be one heck of a blade!
