Great pics, VANCE. I never get sick of seeing pics of that dog.
The heat shield really makes a shotgun look menacing. I don't really have a need for one, but, I've always been drawn to them.

I think you need an AA-12 for home defense. Anything else is just under-kill. [color:"red"]Do Not Click if Harsh Language Offends You!!! [/color] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WOoUVeyaY_8

I like to keep things simple with a sling and a light. There are arguments for and against a sling which I can understand, but a light is necessary in my opinion for home protection purposes. My favorite option. Rem 870. ![[Linked Image from i88.photobucket.com]](http://i88.photobucket.com/albums/k185/rteagard/Guns/Rem870.jpg) A fun alternative (I have since added a light) which takes a drum magazine. Saiga 12 with ACE folding stock. ![[Linked Image from i88.photobucket.com]](http://i88.photobucket.com/albums/k185/rteagard/Guns/saiga12.jpg)

Yeah, his vids are entertaining. Check out dragon's breath, it's the last one in the vid: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RP4FjODPDFA&feature=relmfuI haven't researched it. I'm guessing it's magnesium by the way it sparks, or maybe magnesium and white phosphorus.

Jeepsrock, I do plan on getting some type of light for mine. I gotta check out some of the options. I might go with the surefire front grip set-up.

Holy crap, 500? YOUCH!
I have to admit, I have a light fetish. I just don't have the funds to support it AND my knife fetish.

This is the mount that I got for my 870 http://www.copsplus.com/prodnum2264.php. GG&G make one that's nice but a bit spendy. If you can swing the SureFire, then go for it. Clearly great product.
