Actually, WHY would you need all that power for inside your house? I used my 20 Mossy in a combat course and I didn't HAVE to hit the pepper poppers twice, but did, just so they would go down faster. I was using number 2 buckshot. Oh they had the poppers set for 12 gauge loads.

I'm thinking the same thing. I also want my wife to be able to use it if she has to.

Wouldn't want them running around with an Unreliable firearm.

PERSONALLY I think the whole "Riot Gun" for home defense thing has gone the wrong way. Relatively speaking, we are easy to kill, even easier to hurt bad enough that we can't cause people any harm. You don't need a round that will go completely through someone when one that will only go half way through will get the job done to the same level of completion, namely STOPPING the threat to you or your family.

Besides, you can use the 20 to slow them down and then bring the B11 into play for the coop de grasse!

I'll probably use number six bird shot or maybe number four buck and then, yes, the Basic 11.

I don't know if I actually read this or dreamed it. A choke tube that is rifled to "Spin" your shot column so it will open up faster at short ranges.

You are forgetting about the advertisement value of cutting an assailant in half with a single shot. You can get the same job done with with a 9mm with better efficiency (if you aim well) as you can with a 12 ga buckshot. Yet, it doesn't create headlines like; Spider Pig, a former Marine, Removed a Burglar From His Home by Turning Him into Pink Mist. That is some effective advertising if you ask me.
