It really does sound like there is much more that there really is. I have a deck in the cargo bag of my truck that really does wonders in increasing the useable storage space. Less that 1/4 is taken up by the permanent gear that lives in there.

Been stuck a few places that the minimum amount of gear would have made the whole experience not only more comfortable but (to me <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> ) probably just a little enjoyable... !!

You have an OME kit on there or did you opt for other suspension? I use OME coils and shocks on my Jeep.

OME Springs and Pedders Shocks, second suspnsion kit that has been through this one, first was all OME and wore it out so I mixed it up this time around. I like the OME gear but I feel their older shocks (they have a new design out now) was lagging behind and got beat up hard by long distances on corrogated "roads" here. I have a set of Firestone air bags in the bag and they really help when I load it right up.

Darn it Andy I wish I could get some of the really good trucks and cars from you guys. Great set ups guys.

I keep a ESEE COMPREHENSIVE SURVIVAL KIT in my truck which is a awesome kit!!! Very high end gear. I highly recomend it. Its a very compact bag that takes up very little space. Also I keep gloves and hat and water and power bars with me along with a SWAMP RAT Camp Tramp and a Leatherman mutitool and flashlight. My pistol too. In winter months I keep wool socks and winter boots and a heavy coat. Winters here are pretty bad.
