I just read that our very own Skunks mother is having surgery today to have a pace maker put in.
Let's all keep her in our prayers and thought.
  Get well quick misses skunk!
And Randy let us know if you need anything. Pm sent

Thank you everyone for your well wishes. Ok, here is the status as of when I left.
The Doctor came out after surgery and told us that he wasn't at first convinced that she needed the pacemaker. Then he went on to say that after they got it in and running she seemed more relaxed, if that is possible when you're under. Anyway he said as they were regulating it they turned it off and her heart stopped beating. They turned it back on and every thing went normal, just like it should and he has it set to regulate at 70 bpm. He then said that he now thinks that it will be very beneficial to her.
She finally got out of recovery and into her room. About 30 minutes after that she was talking to us and in about another 15 minutes they brought her supper which she started eating.
The Doctor says IF things continue going well she SHOULD get to come home tomorrow afternoon.
We are thankful, and THANK YOU ALL for your prayers and well wishes.
  Randy

Thank you Jared. And on that note I am gonna hit the sack. It's been a long and tiring/stressful day. What with finally getting the 40 year old copper water pipes under the house replaced with plastic and Dad springing the Pacemaker operation on us this morning, I'm ready for some rest. I guess if the Doctor hadn't decided to do the anagram he wouldn't have found out she would benefit from the pacemaker and she would probably have continued having problems.

Sounds like it was a fine time for those two vacation weeks after all.

Glad it went as well as it did. I hope it will become a positive trend with her health.
