That is from the bristlecone pine "forest" in the White Mountains. unfair question but I gotta ask; Did you lean that dead-er tree up against the planted one? I would have! Fair question....

The White Mountains I'm referring to are in Eastern California, East of, and parallel to, the Sierra Nevada mountain range.

The White Mountains I'm referring to are in Eastern California, East of, and parallel to, the Sierra Nevada mountain range. Gorgeous part of the world. I love the Sierras. I haven't been there in years except for a few ski trips to Tahoe.

Sure! With my superhuman strength, I go leaning huge, heavy trees all the time. I do the same with elephants, boulders, etc.
