Have been using night sights on carry guns since the early 1990's (when they first become "common").
I ONLY use MeproLight "Tru Dots" now. They outlast / outperform (brightness) every other brand I've tried...and I've tried MANY.
Trijicon night sights are my least favorite. They burn out the fastest, and start out the dimmest.
I have to agree in part and disagree in part. Any tritium sight will burn out at the same rate since tritium has a half life of about 11.5 years. So, they all burn out at the same rate, but the Trijicons I have had are duller compared to the Meprolights I have had. I haven't owned a Tru Dot.
The reason I own more Trijicons, is that I can buy a Glock with an extra mag (3 total) and with Trijicon sights from the factory for the same price as the non-LEO version.
