I assume pigs are an introduced/disruptive species in Australia as well?
Do you have a season or requirement for tags/licensing to hunt them?
Everything introduce here is classed a a Ferrel animal and can be hunted all year round, no bag limit. That includes Foxes, Rabbits, Donkeys, Buffalo, Camels etc etc.
Large 1080 programs have been introduced, particularly out west, with Aeriel bating. The Dingo is an exception, they are open season all year round as well with some areas having a scalp bounty.
Ducks have a season, though if the goody goodies had their way there wouldn't be one.
There is an new license here for National parks. (forestry) all under the same banner now. I was offered one free as I boundary onto forestry on my northern side. I suppose they reckon if I want to hunt there I'm gonna do it anyway.
Cheers, Ian.
