It's cause you're marine tough JJ- I figure a marine can take down a sequoia with a busted multitool...or make a saw out of half a soda can...improvise adapt and all!

I think you may have seen too many movies depicting Marines.

This is one of the most awesome posts I've seen. Love the pics!! Just scored my first Battle Rat recently and it's an absolute blast to use. I've not brutally thrashed it yet, but it's good to know that the BR is practically indestructable (along with all other Busse-kin blades)!

Welcome to the Yard RW!
Biggest thing I ever chopped was an 8 inch oak tree that had fallen across the patch I drag my deer out on. Used my Dogfather for that one. No fancy Horn Dog edge niether. There may have been some blistering, some bleeding, some tears...

Manly-man deed indeed! You should get two punches on your man card, I’m impressed. I’m impressed that you used that knife to do some SERIOUS chopping, impressed with your stubbornness and not giving up, and impressed with the edge left on the blade. Gotta show this to the wife when she asks me why I “need” a 911.

The only thing I would let my BR go for would be for a Satin BR like you have. That thing must be the bomb!
