Yeah, both guns fit inside without removing the optics and I still have plenty of room for mags and ammo and even a shooting stick.

The only things needed to complete my bag-o-rimfire-fun; threaded barrel on the 10/22, bipod and the ATF to hurry up with my freakin' tax stamp.

I'm keeping my eye out for one of these too.

I just picked up a regular Ruger 10/22 Magnum which I'd like to outfit with an aftermarket stock, polymer buffer, VQ extractors and a .17HMR carbon fiber barrel.

But, now that project might have to go on hold for one of these.

JJ,

Please let us know how it shoots.

I have only fired it at the 25 yard indoor range where I bought it. It key-holed round after round and even key-holed rounds after take down and reassembly. I was using a box of bulk ammo, CCI Blazers. I usually use bulk federal, but the Blazers were on sale for $18.99 for 525 rounds.

I plan to sight in the scope ate 50 yards this weekend with CCI Minimags. I'll give you an updated firing experience next week.

JJ,

You have good taste in firearms indeed. Just a question, what do you mean by "key-holed?" 'Round these parts that's a negative. any more pics by chance of how the two pieces come together. I have yet to see one of these in person.

thanks

Damon, I don't mean they impacted sideways. I meant they went through the same hole or just widened the hole that was there from the last round.

Down south we call both a sideways hit and a hit through the same hole a keyhole shot.

This pic shows the barrel assembly (top) and the action/stock assembly (bottom) connection points. You can see a flat portion of the connection on the barrel assembly. That has to be parallel with the flat part with two bolts and a curve on the action assembly to connect. It is about 1/4 turn or 45 degrees off of being centered to attach.

This pic shows the angle it attaches before twisting into place. That angular (triangle almost) thing in the middle touching the action assembly is the lock. The the round button looking thing on the right is the release for the lock.

This is the lock release.

In this pic you can see the knurled adjustment ring. You can tighten it to compensate for wear over the years to ensure it remains locked together tightly. It has nearly a 1/4" of adjustment range. I would think it takes a long time to wear 1/4" inch of steel away for it to be ineffective.

It is really easy to takedown and assemble. The bolt has to open to take apart. It has to be open to assemble as well, but the bolt won't close while apart, so that doesn't need to be dealt with.

Please don't tell us you're gonna get a room!

I don't blame you, that is a really nice looking setup you've got JJ.
