Rich, If you had an RS, you would be skinning every road kill you found! But your wife would have a new Possum coat! I had forgot the KC was this weekend until Friday night. Oh well, wasn't going anyway.

Randy- I only have one or two knives in that size range...I need another ! And I don't have a dedicated road kill blade at all...good point! A niche to fill!

Jim, the RMD variants didn't do it for you?

THat Rucki with the sharpened spine and serrations is beyond sick!

Agreed MM...

Strangely...that is the ONLY knife in the entire bunch that screamed at me. All of the others we've seen before. And...they ruined that poor Chopwieler

RN...the first round of those RS's were still quite thick...but Hollow Ground, if I recall correctly. Several were on the forums for sale at a decent premium (think around $220 or so). Too much for dough for me in that configuration....might be interested in a thinner model, not hollow ground. Boy, they sure are shiney though!

Jim, thank you for all of the pics. Really makes it feel like we get to participate...even if from several hundreds of miles away

Oh, I forgot to add: I really took a liking to the new Camo color format...the one that looks like they used some of the Mossy Green color (with the similar texture). Those blades colors look killer!

I thought I heard they were skinnier? no? More slicey?

Nice pics! I was a little disappointed with what they did to that Chopweiller as well. But ooooooh those shiny KZs were calling! Given the price tags though, I think it must have been a wrong number

Jim, the RMD variants didn't do it for you?

I really liked them, but I already have 17 RMD CGs and 3 Custom Shop RMDs, so I couldn't justify buying more of them. The finger grooved RMDs felt nice in a "hammer grip", but wouldn't be suitable for much else. The burl wood and bone-handled RMDs were very tempting, but I just already have so many. Of course, the same could be said of Dumpster Mutts, but MODs are rare enough that I had to take them -- those bring my personal count to 13 of about 50 MODs released to the public.

Hah! I remember you being on the hunt for MODs, but not that you were scoring like that! Those bowie/clip point RMDs are the sweetness...that blue handled one...oh mama...

I like the Bowie RMD variants as well. Maybe there will be some available at the ganza.

Nice pics and nice scores Jim. Do you believe in adoption? I might be 58 years old but I wouldn't mind calling you Dad.

Seriously Jim you have a really nice collection. So few people can actually indulge their "Passion" the way they would like. Congratulations.
