So are there any Busse or Kin out there that will work well as a machete in folks estimation? The Rucki? The BWM? Anything? Inquiring minds want to know. Even more inquiring minds want to get one

Bush Wacker? It is a high dollar short machete, but it can darn sure do the job. For longer blades, I'd just get a cheap machete. A thin blade works well and keeps the weight manageable. Some things just don't need improving. BTW: I have 2 BWMs, so you know I love them! The DFLE and M9LE work well in that mode, too. Haven't tried any of the newer models.
Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

If your google fu is good (or at least better than mine) Vic (Horn Dog) did a comparison of the B11 and the BWM. He loves the BWM but if I recall he felt the B11 was a better Bushwacker than the actual Bushwacker...

Oh, I remember it now. Light and fast is good for bush whacking! But my fully convexed BWM can out chop any knife I have.

No love for the Rucki? Machetes work best for machete work. I'm sure the Ruck and Waki will do, but machetes are cheap and efficient.

I'm sure the Ruck and Waki will do, but machetes are cheap and efficient. So, for the cost of one Rucki, I can buy about 15 good cheap machetes? That seems to be what I'm hearing
