Very cool. I have been seeing John Fitzen make some sheaths out of Elephant Hide. I am going to see if Jeff can get ahold of some of that.

Steeley, I have had several elephant hide wallets from Thailand way back in the 70's. They actually weren't to bad and held up pretty well.

Dave, you have commissioned some VERY serious and beautiful works of art from Jeff. Your GodFather (the DK dangler) seems to be not that elaborate a design but the extra lighter colored leather sewn to the top of the sheath, specially with the cutout of your initials and all of the intricate tooling, is awesome. THAT is what takes the sheath to the heirloom class, a sheath that will last for generations.
