If you've ever met SF's wife, that ain't far from the truth! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />
She's actually a wonderful woman. SF is lucky to have found her <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />
He'll be even luckier if he can keep her from killing him <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

I see you've got an M9LE Vic. I so desperately want to love that blade. I imagine I'll end up with another one some day...some crazy day...

And yes, keep those Gingrich Rangers! I just got a 7" with the Busse blank today to match my 9" in the same design. The 9" has better molded micarta, but aside from that they could be siblings. 9" has been one of my favorites, along with the DF, BWM, and Chopweiler.

Old timers here remember when I stripped a DF and tried to make a home made DFLE. The real DFLE came out and I was thrilled. I bought two of them. But the M9 LE really lit my fire. Light, fast, strong, with that wicked hamon line. SR101 steel. It stays with me. Good luck in your quest.
Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

Vic, as I've whined before on many other occassions, that M9 is just about the perfect blade....except for that wicked little lanyard hole bump at the back. Whenever I'd swing it, it'd dig into the side of my hand. I'd be interested in you're take on it.

I miss the DFLE. The M9LE & BWMLE will have to do for now. But that 911 looks promising.

I'm sure that DFLE is being well cared for! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />
