I got back to the office after visiting a local radio station and found this on my desk. Not the doll, not the ammo box, not the grenade, but the Kabar BK-5.

[Linked Image from i1008.photobucket.com]

A fellow JYD asked for my address so he could "send me a postcard."

I never knew post cards were made of steel and Micarta.

Thank you, kind sir. I have an old school Kabar hanging on a plaque I got when I graduated Corporals Course, but this one I will use.

To keep this an acceptable post. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

JJ, that IS NOT a doll, it's an action figure! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Oh but they are ACTION figures, not dolls. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Just saw an ad in Tactical Knives on ka-bar knives, the Becker short models the a 5.5 inch model. That has got to be the model JJ got. It just doesn't look like a 9 or 10 inch blade.

SO JJ, can we expect a comparison between the Ka-bar and your Wardog?

It is way bigger than a Wardog. It has about a 10 inch blade. The ngle of the pic just makes it look small.

OK then, I guess it ISN'T one of the short models. It still looks mean. I bet the short version is REALLY mean looking.

Randy, the shorter "tweener" models have different handles as well. The full size is 8 inches (I think).
