Hi just to throw another in the loop, I have used the Brownell line of mags for about two years and have not had a failure. They have just the magazine or a tactical one that already has a better spring, follower, and mag pul on the bottom. The price works it self out about right and your ready to go right out of the box.

They are made here in the U.S. and Brownells is a reliable company to do buisness with. They are very military and law enforcement friendly and donate to a lot of military and police memorial charities. Plus they have one price shipping, so no matter how much you order its still one set price. I usually put in a large order once a year to get the most bang for my buck so to speak.

Here are a few links for maintance of your magazines

http://www.brownells.com/.aspx/lid=10351/GunTechdetail/Brownells-AR-15-M-16-Magazine-Maintenance

Replacing the spring and follower

http://www.brownells.com/.aspx/lid=10362...wer-Replacement

And on the magazines themselves

http://www.brownells.com/.aspx/lid=13221/GunTechdetail/Brownells_AR_15_M16_Magazine_Test

good luck.

RUN FROM THE BROWNELLS MAGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have seen so many of those fail it is absurd! I am a part-time gunsmith and I swear by everything else I have bought from Brownells, which is a ton of stuff. However, I am a full time firearms instructor, and have seen an amazing amount of these mags fail! I had 4 fail me that I bought myself. The feed lips started to crack after three weeks of daily use. Unacceptable

You can't go wrong with USGI mags, Sanchez, Okay, Labelle, Parsons, Adventureline, Center Industries are all USGI mags.

This. Sold most of my pmags, went back to usgi. Like knives prefer to metal to plastic. Actually just a preferential thing. Didn't hate pmags just like usgi mags better

Pmags are really good. I've had issues with their 20 round versions though. They don't seem to lock the bolt back. I've tried multiple magazines in multiple rifles, and all the 20 rounders do the same thing. Never had an issue with the 30 round versions though. Also, for a standard metal mag, Brownell's makes a nice one. I don't have any issues with those either.

Another vote for pmags... we buy the best performing steels here, why not the best performing mags too?

Anyone used the Bravo Company AR15 STANAG mags with Magpul followers?

They seem well made and cheap.
