Ok to strange maybe Blade

That was a very interesting comment... Sounds like some kinda hint.

Man I can't wait until Blade!!!

For new blades at Blade...that means look and don't buy, correct? They just show what is/might be coming up?

Not exactly. Last year was a big shift in process by providing discounts for yet to be released blades....ie the no purchase at the moment. However, in years past that was not the case....Hogs and Dogs dined at the trough in a frenzy to purchase blades....often designs that are well ahead of their official release.

I really don't understand why anyone other than an active military guy would want a fighting knife, even pulling one in self defense requires some explaining in a court of law.

I'd sooner have blades I can use for Bushcraft,Camp use etc.

I guess I'm a lover not a fighter !

Come on bro...you're a good man, offer a little flexibility for your breathren.

There are many walks in life. Many folks only collect, never using their blades. Many never bushcraft, nor ever go camping and don't see a need for those designs. Many never set foot in the woods. Many never process animals and don't need knives for those purposes. Many don't cook and don't need food processing knives. Many don't fight (or wouldn't use a knife for such) and don't need those knives. Many are not ninjas (I am...but I'm speaking on behalf of others) and have no need for a sword. Many do not believe in hurting trees (poor trees), and don't believe in needing a chopper. Many think neck knives are ridiculous, and thus don't want those designs. Many want Full tang...many do not. Many want heft...many want light weight. Many want FAT...many want skinny. Many are investors...and they buy for the potential increase in value. Many like strippers (me me me!) and they pull the coating off their knives...while others think we're silly for removing the corrosion protection coating supplied by the manufacturer. Many like black, many like sage, many like camo, many like orange....Lazi likes Green

The diversity is what makes the Yard so great.

Now we're talkin

I'd rather use my glock for Self Defense...but that requires a bit of a legal explanation too I wouldn't use ANY mechanism, unless mine, or my family's life was in sincere danger. I would run if given the chance. If cornered, and all I had was a knife...I'd want it to be my SS4. BRING IT ON!!

I have to say that I can't see myself actually using any knife for self defense unless my firearm has been rendered absolutely useless, I just really like boot knives.

Very happy to see that Dan has dropped by THREE TIMES!
