But case law in Missouri has found knives like that CAN be classified as a "Dirk or Dagger", the catchall for someone who does know about knives.

In Missouri you can carry ANYTHING you want (as long as you don't get caught)!

Seriously I think you can carry a blade with a false edge as long as it is or course not sharpened. (BUT I am not 100 percent sure)

Look again...no false edges on that Koyote.

Right you are! You have a single edged version on order, no? Hopefully it's all set, I was emailing him this week and he said his 2 year old crashed his computer and he lost all his emails.

It would be nice to be able to carry this...but I still love it.

Dan, hows about a teaser pic??!!

Yeah buddy...I hope it's still on order, anyhow Not single edge...but not "sharpened". Kristof said he's going to do some filework on it, etc...should turn out nice. I'd be happy with just a single edge. Oh, and don't forget the Orange liners

You know...this is the first year I remember the Busse boys being so darned secretive heading into BLADE. Maybe I'm confusing things...but I thought we use to get more pics / teasers / etc.???

So..... you tell your wife about EVERYTHING you order? You Sir, are a VERY brave man. And Yeah it NORMALLY is healthier to "Get it out in the open".

Yes, I only order when she allows me to. It's all out in the open.

C'mon, Dan. Set your conscience free.

I'm with you Adam, it is MUCH better to talk about it beforehand than try and explain afterward.

Explaining? It's more like "Honey, is it okay if......?"

No secrets.

I really don't understand why anyone other than an active military guy would want a fighting knife, even pulling one in self defense requires some explaining in a court of law.

I'd sooner have blades I can use for Bushcraft,Camp use etc.

I guess I'm a lover not a fighter !

This is actually one of my most used knives...my Koyote..used 3-4x a week for martial arts practice...cuz it's fun!

And to tag on to what Ish said...I also appreciate the work and craftsmanship Christof put into it- it's a beautiful piece of work in my eyes. Plus, it reminds me of the Scottish heritage that means so much to my dad.

Thanks for that pic RN! I have another version of that knife. I have wanted a Scrap Yard version of a sgian dubh (Scottish boot knife) for a long time. That's a nice one you have there.
