When I get mine it's gonna be black and I'll flatten one of the edges and darken it with a sharpie. BOOM, Texas Legal!
Then I'm gonna have to figure out a simple way to index the knife toward the sharp edge, probably just a loop of 550 cord on the handle somewhere on the sharp edge side, probably on the top hole.

While at the show, picked up some carbon fiber scales. Plan on stripping one and fitting them up to a Booty.

Maybe Dan will offer a version with a "false edge" on one side? That would bring me in...and really open the market a little for usability.

Adam, if you're gonna flatten one of the edges, why not flatten off a little the guard point on the non sharpened side and cold blue or force a patina on the parts you flatten off.

Honestly its probably no more difficult than to try and cut a ceramic stone in half with one side By the way, you guys realize this is Sandvik 12C27 (or possibly 13c26) stainless? New steels from the yard, I like the inclusion of this as well as Elmax, both excellent steels.

Yep it's something like that, I asked Dan and then I wrote it down somewhere. Now if I could just remember where I wrote that down at...

No worries on my end...just would have been a nice to have. At these prices...difficult to argue Dan's logic.
