Yes, I have considered the 3-11, I was just wanting the blade a little longer than my EDC folder which is a Spyderco Paramilitary 2 that has a 3-1/2" blade. I just wish I could hold them all in my hand first before making a decision. So your spyderco is a great edc, but when you are kickin it in the wilderness, you don't want a knife that's already broken in the middle. I vote for the 311as a perfect piggy back companion.

Exactly, the 311 would make a perfect pairing for the 911. I think the 511 is a little too large as a companion blade, 311 now or wait for the 411 would be my advice.

Well I did make a final desission. I just ordered both the 3-11 and the 5-11. If and when the 4-11 is released I guess i get that one to. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/doh.gif" alt="" /> I'm not sure but I think some of you guys are part of a conspiracy to get people to buy more knives.
