Did you get the 10 inch sheath to go with it? I did. Renee added it to my order after my first order didn't have one. She is great!

It does save some money. I got rainwalker kydex for my rodent 9 and 511 but I could not afford it for my b10 LE pair and my 911

Gdog, I have the 10 inch Sy sheath for my BWM and it fits great. It of course is a cheaper sheath, but it ain't a cheap sheath! Wouldn't bother me to carry my BWM around "Out there" all the time in it.

The 911 looks like it will be a real good value. Its almost as big as the DF or DFLE and only time will tell how close it will perform. I see the Dogfather more like a piece of Scrapyard history. Where else can you get their classic SR77 steel knives except for the secondary market or shows. When you add the travel, lodging, show admission, beer and food expense of getting to the shows, youre really not getting the knife for less. Dont forget you have to scratch and claw your way though all of us to at them too! LOL. On the bright side, you will have a great time! Good deals do pop up from time to time. Do the math and you'll see the premium price isnt as premium as it seems. For what its worth, I think you can buy a regular DF for around $250 on the secondary. Definately less than $300. The DFLE will be a little harder to get but it will be soooo worth it. IMHO. Good luck to you, and enjoy your 911 when it comes. You'll still crave INFI and SR77 though. No collection is complete without at least one piece of each steel.

sr101 holds a GREAT edge and Infi has no equal. Holds up and easy to sharpen.

Infi is a little out of my reach right now but not off the list!
Does Infi perform that much better?

I don't know how to describe INFI. It SEEMS soft when you are sharpening it, it sharpens up nicely and easily. But it holds an edge that you wouldn't think it would (Could) seeing as how easy it is to sharpen.

SOD is much heavier. The 7-11 is an all around great camp knife, but it will never replace my Chopweiler <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />
