Posting has really been slow lately though. But hopefully it will pick up now that blade is about to start.

Question, what part of the world are you from?

On a tiny lava rock in the ocean.
Island of Hawaii/Big Island
Born and raised. Excellent Hog hunting here and on the neighbor island Axis deer. Although Axis deer has been taken here this fast few months. There is a huge investigation on the axis deer sightings on Big Island. I haven't seen them here but the other islands are AWESOME for axis deer.
Great Diving/spearfishing too.

I thought maybe you were there somewhere based on some references you've made. When I was stationed in Japan I went to visit friends stationed at Hickam and one year we spent a week on the big island. IT WAS NICE. I have to admit it was strange sweating my well sweating anyway and seeing snow on tops of the mountains.

You preffer the DF over the Basics for chopping?

The Basic 11 dominates...

YES IT DOES!!

The DF is great, but the Basic-11 is the last word in Res-C choppers.

I've taken my B-11 with me every time I've gone out into the woods since I got it.

A crappy pic of my favorite Res-C choppers:

Lol. Ya its pretty different if your not from here.
I was in Washington state for 2years on Whidbey Island and first time I went Salmon Fishing it snowed. Now that was weird! Being from hear you supose to sweat not freeze when fishing.
Then learning to walk on snow sucks. Not like sand! I was at Maylor point and Lake Stevens a lot. Nice there just way to cold! The woods was great. New creatures and scenery. Great experiece but theres no place like home. Good call on where I am. Hickam is pretty different. Well Oahu is very fast paced compared to this laid back Island.

Tourist traps never actually portray the real "feel" of a place. To orientated to the all might Dollar. Unfortunately those of us who contribute to this fallacy haven't really helped to keep the relaxing lifestyle intact. Money usually tends to ruin most things it touches.
