I thought this was neat.

DIY dual-use amphibious vehicle

A 75 year old Chinese farmer invented and built this DIY dual-use amphibious vehicle (called "The Happy Boat"). It has a 5 HP diesel engine and a 1 HP electric engine, he plans to take it on vacation soon...

Does the "Happy Boat" ride end with a "Happy Ending"?

My Dad had a friend he worked with that was in ‘Nam. He said while he was there he offered to trade a 1 lb canned ham to some girls at a “house of ill repute”. They said he could stay in the best room in the place for a month, and have any girl he wanted every night. I guess they really loved pork. That sounds like a pretty good exchange rate to me! Hmmm…we have a whole basement full of canned hams in our food storage…I’d live like a king!

Andy, I think you would have liked it - as long as they remained friendly!

I'm not rich, I don't have any big investments but a Vietnamese girl that I worked with told me if I moved to Vietnam I could retire, buy a plantation and build a series of huts to store my girlfriends.

That was two years ago, I guess inflation hasn't been that bad.

Arf arf arf... That's my other dog impression.

Hmmm, maybe I should move. No snow there, right?
