Thank you for the warm welcome guys! and thanks for all the info and speculation! while have no doubts about the goodness of SR101 i was just wondering what made the change happen. i kind of thought that each company had its own steel (Busse-INFI, Swamp Rat-SR101, and Scrap Yard-SR77)but who knows. i don't doubt Dan and everyone else in the Bussekin group know whats best.

SF's DF hasn't been holding up like it ought--no failures but massive dings/chips. Mine has held up far better than I could have hoped. My Chopweiler even more so <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Well I for one like plain old D-2 and can't wait to see the ELMAX lines. But, I thought you guys had heard. Dan is going to be producing a whole new line of SR77 blades starting with the MOAKs (Mother of all Kuhkris). He should be announcing it in two weeks. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
