If I could only have one Busse knife it would have to be my satin SFNO with old school green linen machined micarta scales.

Why?

The smallest knife that can "do it all" for me is 7". The 711 would be a contender. The Chopweiler/Ratweiler would be a contender, The Basic 7 as well.

At the end of the day, the...

- INFI
- reasonable weight in a knife that can pull chopper duty
- micarta scales

... would put the SFNO #1 for a general purpose hard use survival knife.

Now if I get to bring a hatchet too I would go with something smaller. My pick would be an Active Duty or a SS4.

This one is easy.

First Choice : The Basic 11!<img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bowdown.gif" alt="" />
Second Choice : SYKCO 1111 (soon to be released) <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/2weeks.gif" alt="" />
Third Choice : Rodent 9 <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />
Fourth Choice : SYKCO 911 <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
Fifth Choice : SYKCO 711 <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />
