That is Awesome! I thought about that, but wasn't sure the regular 10/22 ATI stocks would fit. Looks like I will have to copycat you.

Thanks for taking the dive first, brother.

Did it come like that or did you mod it to work with the take down

Comes ready to go.

I'm not sure of the board policy about links to vendors. If it's ok i will post a link to the manufacture of the folder.

Thats really nice sportsnut Thanks for all the excellent pictures and information.

I'm thinking of building a 10/22, if the TD receiver was identical I would have used that as a base so I had the option of switching back, but alas.

Now I just need to find a cheap factory (the project I have in mind will not accept a third party receiver) stainless and complete receiver. Don't much care if it comes with the rest of the rifle.

Do these wear out at all? I might consider a used one since my LGS charges $75 for transfers, which would probably double the price of the receiver for me and put me over budget

Yes, $75, isn't that ridiculous? I don't really care if I'm doing a transfer of something expensive, but definitely not for a 10/22 receiver. Maybe next time I buy something else I'll add it.

The other LGS I go to is slightly cheaper ($40 or so), but won't do transfers from Internet retailers or people they don't know.

I envy all your dogs down south who get transfers for $20-30.

$75... wow!

must be some serious paper work and heavy lifting involved to charge that much.

and man that 10/22 looks like it's begging for a double stamping...
