Once people know you're into knives, everybody wants to pull out their chinese crap to show it off to you. It's hard to be polite sometimes.

I've found it's best not to tell people what I spend on knives because the normal person just doesn't get it.

They want to wear the name brand mall clothes but a tool that can save your life they don't care about the quality.

Just another knife forum. Mods are a little more relaxed there than on BF.
Not a whole lot of Busse and kin people over there though. And the ones that are are either on BF or banned from BF.

I've had a few Emersons. Liked my karambit quite a bit but after she bit me I got a little nervous about pulling her out with the wave feature. It wasnt practical either as there is really no need to carry a karambit as I'm never going to get in a knife fight.

When I got the Mossberg, I didn't know anything about blades. Then I got a Sog Seal Pup Elite. That got returned as well, looked good at the time. Then I realized it was overpriced for what you get. $20 more and you can get a Scrapyard of the same length....

You know it's not just the durability that turns me off about folders. I don't want an accidental opening in my pocket. Also can't handle keeping a safety on because that defeats the purpose of an assisted...
