living in the US you could try the knives, sell them if your hands wont agree with them and lose just the shipping costs. Shipping for us is a whole new knife. (almost)

yeah Customs (tariff's) fees really stink. I think that for personal items, there shouldn't be any need for that. But if you are specifically importing for resale for a business (part or full time) then Yeah I guess I can see them for anything over a certain amount. (volume wise)
