Have you seen Dan's variations on the Scrapmax for Ganza?

Just the small and the large. Small is 3 inch blade large is I guess 4 3/4.

Pokey needs to get those pics up soon, the wait is killing me and many others.....Should be some pretty nice steel in there so I'll let it slide.

I really like my scrapmax but still wish the blade was a MINIMUM of 1/8 inch. Although I would rather have it around .165-.175 inch thick.

I had the same thought go through my head when eyeballing the Scrapmax, I know it's designed to be a slicer.....

Do you know what the exact thickness is?

Good thing Dan has you covered if you do manage to damage the blade though...

I do think 1/8" thickness would really add to the durability without giving up too much slicing ability....The scrapivore slices pretty well at 1/8"

Dan said it was .090

But even with that I think that if you are VERY careful about putting lateral forces on it it will do a lot of the bush craft jobs folks always talk about. Face it, I would imagine a lot of the "Frontier" blades were pretty thin as well.

I don't remember exactly, but I think Dan stipulated "It is a slicer". That would lead me to believe it wouldn't have the same warranty as the other bruiser blades Dan makes. And this is JUST MY personal opinion, no one else's.
