Don't know about MS gun laws, but I would carry some protection if there's gators.

no firearms permitted where i'm fishing but these gators seem to avoid people when they can. it's just watching how they sneak up on prey that make you kinda paranoid. was using a stringer but will start using a bucket in the future... not looking to throw a dinner party.
