As was pointed out in another thread if you want to do something like this, there is nothing wrong with doing it via PM or Emails. In fact Dan might well encourage this to foster the feeling of family, of the bond of brotherhood. He just doesn't want to get something like this started on his site. It could lead to problems like it has on other sites.

While this isn't actually a Give Away as we think of them, let's get a ruling from a higher authority so we stay out of trouble.
