Is this the one you are referring to gun dog?

http://www.smithsproducts.com/products/product.asp?id=27&cid=12

I just came across this on their website...

I know it's a bench stone....but why not if it doesn't weight much and it's not too bulky. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Well, I'd stick to carrying DMT, Ezelap,Smith's...
rather than carrying around a concrete block and a brick... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

I keep an EZE Lap diamond rod in my back pack and this is a kit I take with me when Camping and hunting. The Otter box holds a EZE Lap 210, super fine / medium metal cards for v grind, mouse pad backed with leather on both sides, sandpaper, and chunks of medium and fine rouge for convex edges. The leather pad sets on top of the box during use and the sandpaper can be wrapped over it closed upon by the lid.
