I used my scrapmax the other day to cut up some tomatoes we were making into juice. I let it set for a while without cleaning it off and it stained the blade a little bit. Nothing objectionable, but it will happen. Tomatoes have a lot of acid in them.

Hobbes I think I saw the picture youre talking about. I just didn´t realize the difference.

The Blade show model is 3.75 inches long.

Ganzaa model 340 is 3.40 inches long

Ganzaa model 460 is 4.60 inches long.

Yeah, it would be a good habit to rinse all blades after using. Carbon blades also, but they should be dried very carefully before putting in sheath.

I normally do, but patty (we were both cutting tomatoes over the same pan) said she would be happier if I had just a tad shorter bladed knife, so I grabbed one that had about a 2.5 inch blade on it and just laid the scrapmax down on the counter with the tomato juice all over it. Just wasn't thinking, but no biggie.

Unfortunately. I've got to crawl up on the roof and patch where the 70mph wind blew some shingles up. I've got to lay them back down with some roofing cement.

Better do that before it gets too hot. Not fun being on a hot roof.

Actually hot will be better. It'll make the cement spread and work better. And all this after only getting MAYBE 2 1/2 hours sleep yesterday. We had the storm then the power was out for about 3 hours as well. It was rather warm in the house.
