If you want to see a bigger picture of it, left click on the picture, then when you get to flickr, right click on the picture and then click on the Large format.

Here it is

It cost me $2.50. The sheath cost me $25.00 in Texas in 1979.
Nice pic. Maybe you should send that to Dan for the FDM.

Oh I am sure Dan has a much better design. Just some trivia.

The blade is as I've said made from a leaf spring.

The Brass guard and butt cap are made from melted down 20mm ammo cases. the handle peaking out from under the wrap is water buffalo hide and some strip aluminum.

That one is fine. How long do you think Dan will be prototyping?

I don't actually know. Probably a lot depends on what else he has going on right now. I would think that he would grind one up, to the whole heat treat thing, POSSIBLY put a Res-C handle on it to test it out which could take quite a while as he beats the shot out of it. Then he would get feedback from others I would think and then the tweeking, ordering steel, testing out (possible) alternative heat treat processes and then put it out for us to slobber over and order. I'd say probably at least another

ACTUALLY I don't know when Dan will have something ready, but HOPEFULLY he will be done no later than the end of August and will post something up and give us a time frame for when It would be up for ordering.

I can wait a while though, I should be getting my package from JJ Monday or Tuesday. That will tide me over for a while.

I can wait too. Preordered 4 from Blade, scored 3 from the ganza, have a custom Rodent 6 being made and trying to save for a Team Gemini has got me tapped right now.

If I didn't have the 7inch range covered the way I do I would be all over the 711. Not as hefty as the Regulator or Bulldog, just an easy carrying 7 inch range blade. I still wouldn't mind having one, but can't order everything. We've got bills to pay and WAY to much month left over after paying them.

Waiting for 3 boot knives and a KDH.

Already have a RMD, a RMD LE, a Howling Rat, a RIP, a Rodent 9, a Deregulator, the 11 series, a Scrapivore and a set of Elmax. Enough to keep me happy for now.

HOLY SMOKE! Yeah, I'd be happy with that selection as well.
