Actually the army was the coolest. Did all kinds of wild stuff. travelled all over the states, central and norther part south america. Took every tactical class the Army offered except Pathfinders School.

I was on my own at 17 and worked at a shirt factory to make ends meet. Finished school and new that was a dead end job and I would never better myself if I stayed in that state.
Joined the Army with the intent of doing 20. I realized I loved a war time army but hated CONUS Garrison life.
Got out and went to the academy and never looked back.

Never really got the "enjoy" the garrison life. Was always gone to either training/shooting/or doing other nasty stuff. was hardly ever home
