Each soldier was armed with various WW2 era weapons, such as submachine guns, rifles, pistols, etc.

One could theoretically have a soldier armed with a knife in that game.

Now one wouldn't want to bring a knife to a gunfight, but if one did:

should carrying a Bussekin blade in that game give one a measurable advantage over an opponent carrying any other old knife around?

Does anyone have an opinion on which Scrap Yard blade would be most suitable for field surgery?

My new 340 and my War Dog seem to be the sharpest slicers so far.

I would like to get a 460, as if it is as sharp, it would have a longer reach if one is in need.

For field surgery, one of the Busse Combat small blades. Can't remember the names of them though, but there are two or three of them.

It is difficult to select only one blade, but those also have the advantage of being light and thus adding them to your kit is not as much of a penalty.

Otherwise get an SAK classic, reprofile the blade to a straight edge warncliff with no curvature to the cutting edge, needle point, works like a champ.

A Cultellus is a possibility. It is thin and still pretty light.
