I forgot: a Laguiole folder that's also 'just in the bag' but gets most of the 'food'-duties (peeling and cutting) of any of my knives.

Are you concerned about knife corrosion? The coated blades I have are doing well.

There have been a number of coyotes attacks on dogs here, even when the owners are with them!

I have no concerns whatsoever. My blades aren't rusting, and if they do, big deal. I won't die when I cut something with them and eat it.
