Speaking of herders, the movie Babe was on one of the cable channels today. I had forgotten how much I like that movie.

The funniest thing is watching herders with a group of kids. They nudge and circle them, and the kids don't realize what is happening. In a few minutes, the kids are all packed in a circle and the dog is just watching them to make sure they stay that way!

My friend has a border collie mixed with something. I keep telling Mary she should get some sheep for Susie, but she never has.

At the dog park, a lot of the herders seem to really struggle with all the dogs running around in a chaotic fashion. It is almost like they go into sensory overload, trying to figure out how to herd all these animals.
