Believe it or not, a greyhound can do great in an apartment. Just give them a nice daily walk and a sizable couch and they are fine. Greys are perfectly happy lying upside down on the couch for many hours a day, presumably dreaming of chasing prey. They really don't need a lot of exercise.

Of course, if you have cats, they greyhound will get plenty of exercise, but you won't have cats anymore. :-(

I speculated earlier about what percentage of the forum members have dogs. We know elof has cats, but it seems like the large majority of the regular posters have dogs.

Zoey sheds quite a bit but it's nothin to run the broom or vac around to clean it up

Most of you would not even call it a winter... day temperatures don't drop below 15C (59F) at night it sometimes dips below 0C (32F) in some parts...

Nor am I. I start sneezing and coughing when I am around cat hair. But cats love me! If I visit, they always want to curl up around my neck, and I stroke them even with my coughing.
