I hear you.

Trying to juggle Here, USN, BF, the Swamp, etc. gets a little taxing of my free time. Less time to use my knives, so most my forum time is daytime short attention and wee hours a bit more time, but greater mistakes in spelling.

exactly. this is where I'm at. to many places not enough time beating on the blades!

USN? You Navy?

I don't make time to use knives no more than I make time to use a screw driver. Just sayin'

Negative, with all the respect.

I was speaking of Web site Forums. Usual suspect network. grunt knows this one well.

I drink gallons of Woodford Reserve.

That's nice stuff although I don't often get a bottle.

No worries. When I see USN, I think of our sister service, Unites States Navy.

USN is usualsuspectnet. it's a great spot on the web also. A great group of people and probably a lot of members here also. However I like places where the people use their stuff and don't just put it in the safe for later on. it appeals to me <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> this seems to be a place like that

I always keep a fresh (aged) bottle on hand. Never know when it might be needed.

Definitely, lots of people that respect the knife as a tool rather than a decorative item. Not that there is anything wrong with that.

I was never in the navy. Army Infantry all the way for me. that is where I got my obsession with fixed blades that would stand the test of time. the army never gave me the right tool for the job so I had to search out that tool that could handle most any job. hence my obsession with hard use knives!

Right on!

As you may recall from Blade, I EDC an XM. So, I'll use pricy blades without worry. I bought it for me, not to sell. The unused blades I own are just not used "yet".

Your statement reminds me of why I like Maker's. They don't age their whisky to make it old. They age it 'til it taste right.
