Hey BLD, do what you got to do brother, life is to short to hold onto an uncomfy blade <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/banghead.gif" alt="" /> You know how Res C feels and the 911 is in the shop <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif" alt="" />

I held Magoo's and that was enough to convince me that Swamp series with the funky grip was not for me. Probably a good thing as I am probably $1.5K better off as a result.

Andy, you may want to clarify what of Magoo's you were holding. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

I happen to like my Rodent 9 a lot. In fact, with what I've been reading here I would like to let everyone know that I'm starting a Rodent 9 rescue for all those unwanted 9's. Anyone unhappy with their R9 can send it to me and I will make sure it is well cared for. (sheaths are welcome too)

I love the Rodent 9 blade, still trying to come around on the handle. But the blade is awesome. In my very limited use so far it bites deep and cuts well.

I was not enthusiastic about the R9 handle on first grip, but after trying it out a bit, especially choking back, it grew on me and seems fine now. I think I still prefer the Res C handles on the 911 and Dogfather, but need to handle them all some more to confirm.

I thought the R9 handle was sort of strange, but a lot of users have said that it is actually very comfortable.

I happen to like the way the handle feels.
