Uh huh!!! Haven't checked in for a while. I thought after getting a 311, 511, and 711 to go with my old Battlerat and Howler, I was all set. I had given up hope of seeing anything like this... with a Res-C handle even!
I hope they are available soon. Trail-clearing season is coming!
Wow!

If that doesn't clear the trail then nothing will.

Has anyone else noticed that the choil, is not so much a choil, as it is an extension of the handle? I think this is a very smart idea for such a deep blade design. It gives the utility of the choil...but the choil is flush with the front guard of the handle so the aesthetics are much more appealing.
I am so gonna build a zombie scarecrow and slice it's head off with an FDM. End of story.

If its thin, or at least thinner than the regs ( 5/16ths) you either have to weld steel to the tang, or fill it with epoxy ( which I have my doubts will work). Let me know if it works though, I have an empty reg handle just sitting here Good point. Maybe I'll grind the tang down to 5/32nds and put two FDMs in a regulator handle.

I'm not a financial analyst or anything, and don't mean to butt into your business (yes i do, sorry)....but you might consider saving a little more EDIT: FYI - just messing with you....my intent was more to point out that I think the FDM will be > $200....not to comment on your financial status (in case it came across that way)

My wife and I put our budget together that way also...although, I think I'm getting jipped!! I only get an allocation once every month!!!

Yeah, I think I get hosed on the deal - we each get the same amount every time I get paid, but somehow she just gets to use the CC and not her account for stuff...
Oh well I guess scrapyardknives.com will show up on her CC too.
I'm just too nice, I let her spend it on anything but she goes line by line through my card transactions!
