Personally the rust didn't bother me much as I love a good patina on carbon blades.
But that butcher job with the grinder kills me

This is my brothers knife. He took it to the coast for a few days and said he used it to cut vegetables and meat. Well this is what happens to SR-101 if coating is gone and it's left with someone who doesn't take care of their knives. This is after rubbing the blade with toothpaste to try and take the rust off.
