Unless the angle is way off and assuming the handle is at least 4 inchest that blade looks to be 14- 16 inches. Could be the angle though.

My thought exactly. The thing looks to be a beast. However the weight could make it impractical for sustained use. It needs to be thinner than the normal 1/4 inch choppers. Two versions would be cool - one super thin 'chete style - one a lttle thicker for choppaholics.

I'd have to have both of course...
