The 11 series that I have are as follows.
311: 3.5" x .187"t 8" O.A.L.
511: 5.5" x .195"t 10" O.A.L.
711: 7.5" x .250"t 13" O.A.L.
911: 9.5" x .260"t 14.5" O.A.L.

So maybe the 1311 will be 13.5" blade, 18.5 O.A.L.
I'm thinking it will have to be .250" thick in order to fit the handles in stock.

This sounds like pretty good thinking to me. You just forgot one thing though...... INFI

Seriously though, I hope it's INFI...... but I wouldn't be surprised if this one was SR-101 like the rest of the bunch. Either way it will be a beast, INFI would just make it more of a beast.

I'm glad we can call it the 1311 now instead of the FDM....

If it comes in at or below $200, I'd be surprised. But I'd guess $200-250ish might not be too far off. Certainly I'm hoping it's under 3 bills, but am still interested at that price.

All very reasonable. Dan has been very kind on the forum-only releases, so I've got fingers crossed for $199.95. Can't imagine anything lower than that as it is already a dream price.

I just had an epiphany about the length of this beast.....

It will have a 13 and 11/10" blade, actually making it a 14.10" blade with a 13" cutting length!!!!

Or maybe Dan has dug up his old friend SR-77 for this one...
This is what I'm hoping for. It would help keep the price down.

Is this not the largest production Busse or kin knife to date, excepting the swords, of course?

Let's face it, regardless of specs we're all getting at least one.

It'd be nice to get a numbered one but time's against me.

I definitely do not. Care to share your numerology insights?
