Hello all, just got billed for my first Busse kin; a 711! Still no shipment confirmation, but I think its time to talk to AZwelke about an od green taco (love your work)! I also have plans for a whoopie sling style chopping lanyard made from 7/64 amsteel blue... Pics to come, but for now I must wait with my Barkies (can't wait to compare sr 101 and A2)

Welcome to the yard! You should be happy with the 7-11. It has quickly become one of my favorite knives.

It won't be your last bussekin! They are addictive. Welcome to the Yard. The 711 is a killer blade, so good start!

Thanks! I'm already thinking I may need the 1311, and I don't have anything the EXACT size of the 511. Plus the Muk is a must have next run... This is going to get expensive. Haha Hobbes- nice to see another SEPA dog!

As I said above, I would like to get a kydex sheath for the 711, and as it is a gift for my father who likes dual retention I have been pondering how to have redundant retention with the res c handle in a kydex sheath. I had an idea to use the lanyard with a clip of some sort on the sheath. Then I thought maybe a layer of kydex could be added to two of the rivets with the end away from the handle terminating in a bent clip (sort of like a pocket clip on a folder). Then the lanyard could attach and function as a backup retention strap. What do you guys think?
