So in the early afternoon, we decided to head back to Thailand.
The crossing back went without any hitches.

It was hard to deal with a horde of children begging for money and water...
Not that pleasant to know what kind of wealth we come from, and see how little they had.

Back in Thailand, we started looking for another hotel.
Sara wanted something really cheap, so I found something really cheap!
That cured Sara's need of cheap hotels... It was crappy!!! We shared our room with one thousand ants...

That evening we found a nice little reataurant by the river, overlooking Myanmar.

They had the cutest little dog there. It got very unlucky though, and got bittn by a spider while we were eating.

The little thing howled and weept like crazy, but the owners assured us, that he would be ok.

Day 11
We had seen want we wanted in Mae Sai, and headed back to Chiang Mai.
The bussride was an easy 4 hour nap.

The rest of the day was pretty uneventfull.
We checked in at your hotel again. Tapae Place Hotel... The same hotel we stayed a a few days before. Good hotel, fair price and nice people.

That evening I went to buy a Kukri I had looked at a few days before.
My first kukri ever, and I really like it

It is some 8.5" long, and is made from leafsprings from an old truck.
It hold an edge really well, and sharpens up easyly!

It does need another handle, and I plan on putting some buffalo horn salbs on it, and redesigning the shape. Pics when it is done.

We ate at the running food place again the night.
