I started in front, with Sara in its back.

The route through the jungle was really something. Not just a gravel road.

Those elephants climped some steep hills and follwed a narrow path up and down hill.

After a while we switched, so Sara went in front. She really had a good time too.

After an hour or so, we came to a river. Sara and I switched again, because Sara was affraid to lead the elephant into the river. The riverbank was really steep.

We had a baby elephant along for the walk, and the minute we entered the river, it just went nuts in the water. Splashing and bathing around.

And the adult elephants just let it go for it. They would not move untill the baby was done playing and bathing

Finally we were able to move on, and we walk through the river for some 500 metres, where we jumped off the elephants.

Here we spend the next 30 minutes bathing and scrubbing the elephants. The had a good time, and so did we. Once again the baby just went nuts. Really cute.

We got up on them again, and walked towards the cars.
All in all a really cool experience.
We had a feeling for some people who care for their animals and didn't mistreat them, which was really important to us.

Day 13
We slept, which was much needed!
Then we went to rent a couple of scooters.

In Denmark we drive in the right side, in Thailand they ´drive in the left side... It took some getting used to!
